So many times in stores, I’m asked to grab things from a top shelf. Many times, I’ll gladly help the person with a smile, but then grit my teeth and roll my eyes after they walk away. Why? It’s not like they were trying to be rude to me. It comes down to my perspective. At work and in the real world, helping people should just be a done deal. Do it for good karma or do it for a sense of pride, but for whatever reason, it really doesn’t hurt to be helpful.
